As a graduate research assistant at UCLA HCI , I work on system design of projects that integrate deep learning and AI into user friendly human-computer interfaces. An intrinsic approach—using surface electromyographic (sEMG) signals from an off-the-shelf wearable armband (MayoBand)to classify the hand microgestures. Since the work is submitted to a journal I can't share the details but please watch the video and let me know if you have any question.

Using ROS and Optitrack motion capture system, in this project I set up autonomous flying of nano quadcopters called Crazyflies. TrackMe uses GPRS and GPS signals to locate and track items in real time. The user-interface works through an iOS app. You can read more about TrackMe here.

This was done as a prototype related to my internship at Whirlpool. The idea was to please the box inside the finished units at the end of assembly line to verify their LED brightness and color temperature based on various ambient temperature.
